DeQon Hardister

Creative Director / Founder

Born in Dallas, Texas in 1996.

From an early age, he was drawn to the intersection of creativity, sports, and impact. Growing up, he found inspiration in art, as he and his grandmother would sit at the dinner table drawing vivid memories of her child hood, which led him to explore the worlds of design, media, and real estate.

But his life’s mission was truly defined by a tragedy that changed everything—the loss of his brother, Donny Hardister Jr., to suicide during his 11th-grade year. They were just four years apart and incredibly close, sharing countless memories and navigating life side by side. Losing him left a void that was impossible to fill, but it also became the catalyst for his purpose: to honor his legacy by building something meaningful that could uplift others.

After earning a degree in Mechanical Engineering, he quickly realized that his true passion lay beyond the corporate world. He began immersing himself in the world of fashion, media production, and copywriting—developing a unique skill set that merged analytical precision with creative vision.

In 2019, he founded Honor Humanity, a brand dedicated to more than just high-quality products—it stands for real change. Originally, it was known as Hardister Hoodies or Double H, in honor of his family’s last name, but he rebranded as he figured his initiative was much more bigger. The mission was clear: create a movement that uplifts communities, spreads awareness, and provides tangible support to those in need.

With a deep understanding of business strategy, digital storytelling, and system engineering, he expanded his ventures—launching a paid newsletter, offering expert consulting services for hosts within the short-term rental industry, and developing a premium clothing brand. His work caught the attention of the late, great, Virgil Abloh further solidifying his reputation as a visionary in the industry.

His relentless pursuit of impact has led to key collaborations, growing recognition, and an ever-expanding audience who resonate with his message. Whether through his writing, photography, or brand initiatives, his goal remains the same: to create lasting change, inspire others, and build a legacy that bridges creativity, entrepreneurship, and social impact.

Today, Honor Humanity continues to grow, with 30% of proceeds dedicated to charitable causes—proving that business can be a force for good.

As he sets his sights on expanding Honor Humanity into a globally recognized brand, launching exclusive collaborations, and creating new initiatives that empower underserved communities, one question remains: What’s next?
